The coming months will see the continuation of the winter works programme on the golf course. We are hoping to have renovated all the green side bunkers by the end of April. Tee’s at the 12th and 13th have been enlarged to help with the increased traffic on the course.

Aeration works will take place on the greens in early April. This will help improve the playing surfaces for the summer. I am sure all those that have played Mill Ride over the winter will agree that the greens have been in fantastic condition. This is mailnly due to the aeration work carried out in August of last year.

Within the Clubhouse the Head Chef’s Sunday Carvery is as popular as ever, with a superb selection of roasts with all the trimmings available every Sunday in the Fairway’s restaurant. If you would like a table please book at the bar or call the club directly.

A big thank you goes out to Derek Glenister and Margaret Smith who are coming to the end of their Captaincy years. The Captains charity has raised in excess of £10,000 this year for the chosen charity, Dogs for the Disabled. This is a fantastic achievement and sets the standard for coming years.
