As we enter the new subscription year the future looks bright for Mill Ride. The parent company, The Country Club group, is committed to developing the Country Club brand. Projects are due to start at our Cranliegh and Slinfold Park courses this year and here at Mill Ride we are awaiting verification from Bracknell Forest Borough Council regarding our planning application for our new clubhouse and health and fitness facility.

On the golf course significant improvements have been made over the winter. A number of bunkers have been renovated which has meant better drainage and most importantly more consistency within the bunkering programme on the golf course. Bigger teeing grounds have been put in place at the 12th and 13th. The 2nd and 8th Tees have been levelled out and a number of areas have been cleared of excess shrubbery and overgrown bushes!

The membership at Mill Ride continues to flourish and we will continue with NO JOINING FEE for the foreseeable future. We feel that the club is moving forward and therefore feel our members will remain loyal as improvements are consistently being made across the board. A new Membership Sales Executive joined the team in March. John Somerville-Hendrie joins us having spent 3 years at IMG. The club wishes its new Captains (Steve Farrin, Lorna Glenister, David Fleet and Miles Bradley) all the very best for the coming year which promises to be an exciting one for all connected with Mill Ride.
