The Practice and Teaching facilities at Mill Ride are second to none. Players are able to hit balls from turf all year round, which makes it very popular, and gives a distinct advantage over those teaching from 'mats'. The range is over 240yds long, capable of accommodating the longest of hitters. An excellent short game area incorporates various chipping and bunker situations, similar to those found on the course, should you stray. The pro-shop provides golf balls at a charge of £2 per bucket.

The two resident PGA Qualified Professionals are available by appointment only. Both Terry Wild (Todays Golfer recommended golf teacher) and Russell Neill are experienced teachers, having taught players of all abilities with great success.
