Well Done Fran Campbell

Fran Campbell has recently passed her level 3 rules exam which is the industry standard qualification for refereeing at national championships.  

After passing her level 2 rules exam during lock down, Fran has refereed at a number of major golf tournaments in order to gain experience to allow her to take her level 3 exam.  Including County week, The Astor Salver, The Berkshire Trophy, and some Faldo series events

In order to gain the level 3 qualification, Fran had to take a detailed exam and achieve a pass mark of at least 80%.  The next stage is to attend a TARS (tournament administrators & referees seminar) at Golf Ireland in October.  The purpose of the seminar is to give guidance and practical advice on running tournaments and refereeing, including sessions on course set-up, course marking, pace of play, suspension of play and starting and recording.
