These Terms and Conditions apply for the booking of a Golf Day at Mill Ride Golf Club, hereinafter referred to as "˜The Club' The return of the signed Booking Form, Golf Society Days require a Deposit of £100.00, Corporate Golf Days require a 50% Deposit of the total booking which will will signify confirmation of booking and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions respectively.
Reservations will be regarded as provisional until such time as the club has received the signed Booking Form and deposit.
The Club reserves the right to release a booking in the absence of a written confirmation or deposit.
If it becomes necessary to close the course for all or some of the day due to inclement weather, the Club may change tee times accordingly.
Full payment of the deposit is required on confirmation of the Golf Day/ Function. If this is not received, the Club reserves the right to release the booking without notice.
Should the Golf Day / Function be cancelled by the client or otherwise expressly or termination implied by the client then the Club has the right to charge the Client cancellation fees as follows -
All amendments must be given in writing and the Client should ensure that all players observe Club rules, golfing etiquette and ideally have a recognised handicap.
N.B. In arranging golf days, the organisers should be aware that it is prejudicial to the amateur status of the golfers to be awarded prizes in excess of £500.00 value.
The Club will extend credit facilities to Golf/ Corporate Organisers only on prior request. Terms of payment are strictly payment on day or 28 days for full settlement of invoice. Failure to settle accounts as shown will result in the loss of credit facilities for future bookings.
The Client, in accepting these terms and conditions, assumes responsibility for any damage caused by them or any other member of party, whether in rooms or in any other part of the Clubhouse or grounds.
The Club accepts no liability for the loss of any individual possessions or property.
The Club reserves the right to cancel or amend any reservation
a) If the club, or any part of it, is closed due to fire, natural disaster, employee dispute, alteration, demolition, decoration or Order of any Public Authority.
b) If the client becomes insolvent or enters in to liquidation or receivership.
c) If the client is more than 15 days in arrears with any payment due to the Club
d) If the reservation is potentially detrimental to the reputation of the Club
e) If snow, excessive rain, fog or lightening prevents the playing of golf. In this event the club will refund any deposit made in respect of golf but will have no further liability to the client
f) Tee times may be altered due to partial closure of the course.
g) Frost holes may be utilised only where necessary to protect the course and a discretionary green fee (only) discount may be given , subject to the Director of Golf Operations approval.
